WHO WE ARE:​

The Foundation Residence Society has a clear aim: to confront the urgent requirement for sustainable rental housing for middle income individuals and families in British Columbia. Our society is committed to building, overseeing, and managing rental homes specifically designed for individuals with median incomes. Guided by a Board of Directors with deep-rooted experience in both the construction and development sectors, as well as within charitable and non-profit realms, our society operates under their expert leadership. This board includes seasoned professionals, including expert and experienced lawyers and accountants, who contribute their specialized knowledge directly as board members, further enhancing our operational efficiency and effectiveness. The board establishes policies, authorizes significant transactions, and ensures the realization of our mission through their extensive knowledge and expertise.

Edward
Wong
Edward Wong is a seasoned Chartered Professional Accountant and Juris Doctor with extensive expertise in the nonprofit sector. His strong foundation in public accounting is marked by a successful track record of leading audit, review, and compilation engagements, particularly within nonprofit organizations.

Professional Experience:
- D&H Group LLP (2022-Present): Chartered Professional Accountant; financial reporting and advising for nonprofit entities.

- Buckley Dodds LLP (2017-2019): Engaged in comprehensive accounting services for various nonprofit clients, enhancing financial transparency and operational efficiency.

- Treasurer, Edupavi Canada (2020-2023): Oversaw financial management and strategic fiscal planning, contributing significantly to the organization’s growth and sustainability.

- Board Member, Immanuel Baptist Church (2014-2015): Spearheaded a crucial restructuring initiative, leading to improved organizational effectiveness.

- Fundraising Co-op, Union Gospel Mission (2011): Facilitated key fundraising activities, supporting essential community services.

Edward's comprehensive background in both accounting and law, combined with his commitment to service in the nonprofit sector, makes him an invaluable asset to any board. His strategic acumen and rigorous financial oversight continue to drive organizational improvements and sustainable success.
Orville
Lee
Orville Lee co-founded the Pathfinder Youth Centre Society and the Pathfinder Youth Home and has a social work and psychology diploma. Orville has worked with many community partners as a mentor.
He has changed the lives of many youth, who may have otherwise dropped out of school, became homeless, or had problems with the judicial system.
Before opening The Pathfinder Youth Centre Society, Orville was a Canadian Football League player who won the Schenley Award in 1988 for being the most outstanding rookie. In 2020, Orville spoke at TEDx Surrey on the topic of mentorship.

As the Founder and CEO of Genius Innovation Lab, Navjeet has created a dynamic venture studio that empowers businesses, from Fortune 500 companies to startups, by building innovative products and investing in promising technologies. By leveraging immersive technologies, Genius Innovation Lab enables clients to unlock new opportunities and stay ahead in the digital landscape. Under Navjeet's leadership, the studio fosters innovation, drives growth, and delivers unparalleled value to its partners.
In addition to his entrepreneurial pursuits, Navjeet serves on the board of the John Volken Academy, contributing his insights and leadership for the past four years. With a track record of success, Navjeet previously served as managing director of Canadian Dream Homes, overseeing over $150M in residential and commercial construction projects.
Today, his leadership at Genius Innovation Lab continues to drive innovation, foster growth, and deliver unparalleled value to partners across the globe.
Augustino
Duminuco
Augustino Duminuco is an accomplished leader in both the nonprofit and construction sectors, currently serving as the President of the Infinite Expansion Foundation. Over the past seven years, he has skillfully cultivated numerous partnerships with various nonprofits and charities across British Columbia, significantly enhancing the foundation’s impact and reach.
In addition to his nonprofit work, Augustino has a robust background in the construction industry, having grown up in a family-owned construction and development business. This experience has provided him with extensive knowledge in construction management, enabling successful collaborations with other developers and all levels of government to ensure project success and regulatory compliance.
His education includes a Diploma in Construction Management, which complements his hands-on experience, equipping him with both practical skills and theoretical knowledge necessary for sophisticated project oversight and strategic planning.
Augustino’s unique blend of expertise in community building and construction management makes him a key figure in fostering sustainable development and strategic partnerships that benefit communities across British Columbia. His commitment to excellence and community service continues to drive meaningful change and development wherever he serves.
